Review designs for grading, storm water, utilities, and pavement.Manage our external civil/structural/architectural design consultants through the design and construction process.Create, review, and release design RFPs.Coordinate with Due Diligence teams to determine site selection criteria and review Due Diligence reports.Develop and maintain design standards, design prototypes, and template specifications related to site design.Communicate conceptual designs and create/maintain project documentation before, during, and after construction.This includes working with many of the internal groups within Amazon as well as external consultants and developers.

Utilizing your Civil Engineer knowledge, you will assist in data center site selection, preparation of due diligence reports, undertake site planning and development and play a pivotal role in the delivery of data center environments regionally. You will be the engineering representative on behalf of the Data Center Engineering Team responsible for the successful delivery of projects, which meet strict quality and performance levels. As a Civil Engineer, you will work directly with our Real Estate, Design and Construction teams within your assigned region. The Data Center Global Services (DCGS) team is looking for a passionate, results-oriented, inventive Civil Engineer to drive design and construction in a client-side technical lead role for the delivery of our enterprise data center campus projects.
